The glass does the work
A small panel on top of the orb charges through the day. When the light drops far enough the orb wakes on its own, and the blades around it catch the glow from below.
It earns its place in daylight too
Most solar decor is invisible until it switches on. This one is a metal sculpture for the other sixteen hours.
Torched, not painted
Each blade is heated until the steel colours on its own, so the copper, bronze and blue along the edges are the metal itself rather than a coat that flakes off in a season.
Solar, fully cordless
A day of sun is the entire setup. Nothing to plug in, no cable to bury, no switch to find.
Two heights per set
A 19.5in and a 16.5in plant in every set, so a pair already looks like a planting rather than two of the same thing side by side.

Three steps, then leave it alone
Pick a spot with open sky
The panel sits on top of the orb, so it wants a few hours of direct sun. A bed edge, a gravel run or the sunny side of a path all work.
Push the stake in
The stake goes into soil or gravel by hand. No tools, no digging, no anchoring.
Look out after dark
It comes on by itself at dusk and goes off again at sunrise. There is nothing to switch.
One is an ornament. A group is a planting.
A single agave reads as a one-off. Three or four staggered through a bed at different heights is when it stops looking like solar lights and starts looking like it was planted there, which is the whole point of the shape.

Every set has two: a large one at about 19.5in and a small one at about 16.5in, measured to the tip of the tallest blade, stake not included.
No. It is fully solar. There is nothing to plug in and no cable to run out to it.
It is a warm accent glow, closer to a candle than a path light. Bright enough to read as a soft point of light across a garden, not bright enough to light a walkway on its own.
Yes. The metal is finished for outdoor use and the orb is sealed, so it can stay out through the season.
A full day of charging generally carries it through the evening. Short or overcast winter days mean a shorter run.
The colouring on the blades is heat patina, which is what torched steel does. It deepens outdoors rather than peeling the way paint does.
